Connecting neighbors through engaging events.
Blossomwood Neighbors, at this time, is a subgroup
of the Blossomwood Viilage exploratory team.
In holding socials, we are pursuing a specific need identified
from a survey conducted with a sampling of the Blossomwood neighborhood population, that being the interest in getting
to know more neighbors and interacting through social events.
While our initial focus may be on events geared to older residents,
we are dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of all ages
of the Blossomwood neighborhood in Huntsville, Alabama. The group aims to bridge generational gaps and foster a more connected environment where every neighbor feels supported and seen.
Our mission focuses on:
Fostering Connection: Creating social opportunities for
residents to know one another and build lasting relationships.
Mutual Support: Developing a neighborhood support network,
with an initial focus on older generations and those living alone,
to help residents feel like there is someone they can call
on for help … or just to talk.
Neighbors knowing neighbors!
